“Hmph.” With a sarcastic tone Caius looked over towards Serah. “Lead the way Farron.”
Yeul took hold of Caius’ hand, sighing in relief. She was thankful that they had chosen to take the peaceful route, rather than yet another endless battle. She had seen another vision of the future… but she didn’t feel her body breaking down as it usually did by now…
Perhaps by journeying together to find Noel—and to save Lightning… they were truly, truly changing her fate.
Caius looked over towards his small companion. With his free hand he patted her gently. “Everything will be okay, Yeul.”
